So after that beating in that busted tower, the willowy fellow, the beautiful half-elven maiden, some armor clad brothers, and myself took a rest in the holy man‘s home. I slipped out early on before the others awoke and tried to get some coin for the black pearls I snagged from a metal chest we acquired from a shady ghoul in that busted tower. Didn’t get as much as I’d like, but enough before I was rudely interrupted by MY FRIEND Nohl. Something about adventure? I wasn’t listening until he mentioned treasure and continuing with Lady Aoife, so I went along with it. Apparently the bunch of them were planning on diving face first into some dangerous business involving dead gods and needing to save the world. I was ready to leave once they ushered along some half-orc woman, but something in me told me if that dreary elf was gonna die, I had to see it happen, so I went along.
So this giant group of ours made its way to some bull-shaped cave sheltering a man named Jacques and his goats. One of the brothers found a door in the back of the small cave and in we went, finding a lavishly decorated room with a very pretty centerpiece with foreign scripts. Nohl quickly translated them to something along the lines of the place being a tomb of a terrible terrible man. Well, the paintings made him look handsome at least.
The others checked rooms in the hall and found a seemingly empty room and a room filled with piles of bones with bull skulls that suddenly came to life and attacked us. I valiantly assisted, but the bunch of them with their giant hammers and axes had it handled and slayed the minotaur skeleton. However, on our way out, Nohl (of course) ran face first into some gelatinous but hostile cube, nearly DYING, but he lived (unfortunately). We bested that beast as well and discovered that it was hiding in that empty room from before, which also had a crack in the wall that I could easily trek. The others could fit as well, I suppose.
As we all trekked through, we encountered a room of three aggressive mist-like entities that burst into flame upon death. Thinking that was the last of it after finishing them off, we continued forward and found yet another room filled with even more of those wisps of energy and some that seemed to resemble liquefied burning coals. The beautiful Aoife was able to clear most of the room, the rest causing some difficulty, but we were able to overcome it.
